Robin Young Pottery

This pottery class is located in a garage studio in Laguna Niguel, Orange County. The age requirement is 5 for group classes and 6 for private sessions. Classes meet weekly for 1.5 hours, focusing on handbuilding, sculpting, and throwing on the potter’s wheel. This authentic ceramics art class offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere, using stoneware clay that is glazed and fired in a kiln at high temperatures. Instruction includes professional techniques, allowing students to create impressive projects. Each student will learn skills and build confidence, completing two projects per class, which may include sculpted, hand-built, or wheel-thrown pieces. All projects are microwave- and dishwasher-safe.
