“Exploring Art offers in-person classes in Burbank, California, and live online classes to students in various counties. One-hour classes are designed for kindergarten through 8th graders, allowing each child to create at their own level while building a strong foundation in visual arts. Classes focus on the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design, often exploring the work of different artists and creating in various styles. A variety of materials will be used throughout the semester, including watercolor, oil pastel, pencil, textiles, markers, and tempera paint, while practicing skills such as cutting, gluing, shading, brush handling, printmaking, and weaving. Students are guided in concepts and encouraged to use their own creativity to produce beautiful, age-appropriate artwork.”
