Ready Set Debate

Ready Set Debate offers online debate clubs that model a high school or college debate team. Through practice debates, in-class exercises, home learning assignments, and personalized coach feedback, club members develop core skills of competitive debate, including analyzing statements, researching, constructing arguments, organizing speeches, conducting effective cross-examinations, weighing issues, identifying and combating logical fallacies, speaking persuasively, and judging. Club members are periodically invited to compete in optional online tournaments. This activity is recommended for ages 10-17, though capable younger learners may enroll with coach approval.
