Queens Gettin’ Lit!

Queens Gettin’ Lit! is a culturally relevant program for students in grades 3 through 8 that promotes community building and develops literacy and critical thinking skills among Black girls. The program empowers their sense of self in various spaces through cultural heritage development. All students in grades 3 through 8 are welcome to create projects and engage in conversations about Black history and culture while enhancing their literacy skills.
