The Writer’s Workshop for Kids

The Writer’s Workshop for Kids offers creative, non-sectarian online writing classes for grades K-8 that inspire kids to write from the heart. The live writing classes are standards-based, allowing students to develop writing skills while having fun. Classes are delivered via Zoom and Google Classroom, and students receive personal, positive feedback. Assignments foster a variety of writing skills, with themes including Harry Potter, poetry, fantasy, pirate adventure, mysteries, biography, and more. Classes for grades 6-8 include instruction on writing research papers and literary analysis.
