Language arts encompasses more than just reading and writing—it involves thinking and communicating, focusing on essential life skills. Every student has a story to tell. When creativity is the core goal, students will engage in crafting the written word. Through the study of literature, sentence construction, and exploration of various topics, students will develop the ability to think creatively and logically and to communicate effectively. Blackbird & Company provides a comprehensive curriculum and online classes. Our live online sessions meet weekly for five weeks to explore great stories. Each session features discussions led by experienced instructors to inspire deeper thinking about the material. Engaging with books fosters original ideas, which in turn encourages writing! After each session, students will submit written work and receive personalized feedback from the instructor.
