FIRE Communications

Competitive Mock Trial teaches students to “think like a lawyer” while exposing them to various law-related careers. Participants will read and analyze a specific court case, perform mock trials, and receive guidance from local attorneys. They will present cases before judges and attorneys, make speeches, and engage in oral arguments. Students will learn about criminal law, legal processes, rights and responsibilities, and the justice system. Additional practices and competitions will be held on designated days, including potential county and state competitions on weekends.
