The Studio for Electronic Art

The Studio for Electronic Art brings together music, visual art, and computer science for online educational experiences that support digital fluency and creative expression.

Developed by Dr. Matt O’Hare, our unique and accessible curriculum is designed to impart fundamental skills of computational thinking and critical digital art-making, preparing students for undergraduate STEM education while encouraging their individual creativity.

In June and July of 2025, we are offering two 4-week courses in computer music through the Low Pass Summer School. These classes are open to high school students who have completed a basic computer literacy course.
